First up.....hello all - first post here!

OK, i'm about to lay some laminate flooring, and was wondering what is the best way to hide the expansion gap?

The skirting is already in place, and removing it is not an option.

I'm worried that some of these matching quadrant sections may look a bit tacky, and to get them all round the edges may look a bit naf. Plus they cost nearly as much as the floor itself when you need to buy alot!!

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Nick.

The cheapest option would be to fit quadrant wood beading and nail it to the skirting board and paint match the colour.

or fit some nice door architrave or another smaller skirting board in front of it.

Agreed with Masona. I used some convex beading, painted with white gloss to match the existing skirting and it looks really good :D
