I'm building a fence in my front yard to replace the itred chain link fence that was there when I moved in.
There is a servicable concrete post already there, which I don't want to have to remove, however I equally don't want to drill six holes into very hard concrete.
I am therefore looking to attach two wooden fence posts to the concrete post (one either side).
I've seen this done elsewhere using what is basically a Jubilee / hose clip that is of large enough diameter to fit round three 10cm square posts. Does anyone know what these large adjustable metal bands are called, as I can't find them anywhere.
Alternatively, feel free to tell me why my plan is insane and what I should do instead...
