BT you didn't watch that youtube video then otherwise you would have seen the Italian charity offer help/home when their camp was removed by the police.(the same help has been offered and refused and or abused across europe.

The help was offered on the condition that the families must not commit crime or go begging, only one family was prepared to accept those condition. That family continued to send their young children out begging even though they were warned it would result in them being made homeless.

The only way to break the cycle crime is to remove their children. And we know that will never happen.

You should have watched the last ten minutes were one of the leaders said it was time the roma stop traveling the world committing crime. How can anyone argue against that.

Did you find the news story where the Hungarian government ordered construction companies to employ roma's on the construction sites. One company went in search of that labour said that they had approached thirty men sat on their doorsteps or stood outside their homes and offered them jobs. Only ten said they were willing to work, of that ten only six actually turned up.

They were issued with boots and tools on the first day (long story short) come friday there no men, no boots, no tools.

When someone like nick clegg stands up and says the roma must change ............................

Sadly the ECHR would, probably find in favour of a dossing immigrant, claiming he had a right to a family life here in the UK (on benefits) because he'd found an abandoned budgerigar/cat/dog flea/cockroach. They have already found in favour of illegal immigrants who have killed children whist driving a car without insurance and illegal immigrants who have murdered innocent Brits....... Didn't the victims have these same rights? (or doesn't that matter now their dead and buried??)

You're quite right, Jock. Let me stress that my opinion is that I would prefer hard working immigrants to our indigenous dossers (and criminals).

Sure, the ECHR would certainly do as you say. My point is that they wouldn't allow us to send our own dross in exchange. It seems to me that all they want is to dump as much rubbish on our doorstep as they possibly can.

What these do-gooders completely fail to see is that if their 'strategy' is carried to its logical conclusion, the current 'rich' countries of Europe will eventually join the ranks of 'poor countries'.

Who will open their doors to the poor people of Europe then?

If you want to prove to the world you are not, instead of snivelling on here about how our country is about to be invaded by millions of people "we" don't want (I'm still waiting), why don't you put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) where it will really count and start writing to as many agencies, organisations and individuals who have power as you think will listen.
