Bullfight called Off

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/275028/Greenpeace-slams-Spain-on-fishing

There are too many links from too many sources to cut and paste. Just Google Spain illegal fishing and weep...
You'll have noticed, BT, that the article makes absolutely no mention of whose laws or regulations are being broken.
Greenpeace is not an EU organisation. It complains globally.
So it's fallacious to use that as an example of EU laws being disregarded by other EU countries.

But let's not do another religious thread

Indeed, Tone...Although we seem to have turned a thread on Bullfighting into an anti Islamic one!

(Note this one for reference next time someone accuses an anti racist poster of 'bringing' it into something:cool: )

But weren't you arguing for the freedom of speech, just a short while ago?
I have have a right to free speech too you know,
Of course you do, even if you want to say something unacceptable.
But your comments were a little contradictory, taken in the sequence and context that they were given. For instance you said:
But hearing the word "God" gets on my **** more, especially in recent times, than I ever here a racist term. I equate it to 'in the name of god' which = anything goes.
Then I said:
But weren't you arguing for the freedom of speech, just a short while ago?
So what I'm pointing out is that you can't expect others not to practise their right to free speech, while you argue for it so vehemently. Especially when prayer and God words are not normally considered unacceptable.

Whenever someone wants to do something illegal or immoral they use God as a reason or the devil made me do it.
I don't think you meant that as a general sweeping statement, did you?

Yes, now go up to your room and Reverend Tone will be up in a minute with some KY jelly to teach you a lesson. Many a truth spoke in jest.

I don't think your comments are sensible at all.
Or are you being intentionally silly?
There's a difference between religious dogma causing problems and some perverts using religious institutions, or any institution, for their own agendas.

I think I'll rename GD forum as "general disaster area". That's what is happening to those abusive posters. They're losing all sense of reality.

Yes. You were implying that animals understand words. They don't

Nonsense.
    Is it the cat or the dog that you talk to regularly?
Is that where you get your ideas from?
Do you have polite conversation, or do you use unacceptably abusive words in front of your pets?

They sent a chimp into space.
Made far more sense than sending you up there.
Yes, but they couldn't ask him/her if he enjoyed it!!

Anyway.....

Back to everyone reading RH's nonsense.
I can assure that I've read far more of your nonsense than you've read of mine.
Most of what you write in GD forum is nonsense.
Have you though about asking your cat for their opinion. It might make more sense than your opinion.

Some posters doesn't really have the tools for a proper discussion,

This pomposity needs another look.

Never denied that! Pompous , pedantic, and a few more. But still stand by the statement, and see it time and time again when some are directly challenged or asked simple questions.

I'll take it as read that you have never indulged in casting aspersions on other posters debating skills .Fair play.
