Seventy years from the end of the Holocaust, and there will be a lot on the media about it, much of it harrowing.

Bearing in mind how the climate was set for this by those who manipulated the masses- name calling, scapegoating and mocking then fearing ' otherness' are among the firsts steps to dehumanising.

And once you get to that stage, then anything goes.

Cause for reflection for some, and inevitably over the heads of others.

But hopefully a brief pause for thought for all.

Nice comment, micilin.
Edited because a pevious comment has been deleted leaving the rest of my comment unnecessary, pointless and irrelevant.

I'm going to mention the 'M' word again but I do think it is relevant to the original post.

Can anyone explain why certain muslims are spraying the word 'LIARS' over holocaust posters? Do they really believe that it did not happen? Do they think it was just trendy in those days to get a number tattooed on your arm?

I haven't seen anybody spraying such posters, have you?

What did they say when you asked their religion?

There have always been holocaust deniers, and in most countries it is not a criminal offence.

There are also people who deny the moon landings, or who claim that vaccination is a plot.

AFAIK Essex-born David Irving is not a Muslim, but his religion (if any) is a matter of supreme indifference to me.

Well it was on the BBC news but I suppose they could have borrowed a young lad from the job centre, dressed him in a burkha and told him to graffiti a poster.

Are you telling me it was someone in a burkha?

What do you think caused British David Irving to deny the holocaust?

Note to all on the 'right' of the argument - don't bother posting on this thread, as anything you say will be taken down and erased.

No, my original question was this

It appears you don't want to see holocaust deniers who are not Muslims, such as the British Irving. For all I know their motivations are the same. Or different. Who were you hoping would know the answer?

Ok point taken. I'll re-phrase the question then. Why would ANYONE believe that the holocaust didn't happen?

For the same reason that they can't see the evidence to support that Islam is a violent political ideology and not a religion.

For the same reason that they see the Islamic aggressors as victims instead of what they are, the aggressor.

Damn right. The way Nazism slowly reared it's head yet ordinary Germans just went along with it, burying their heads in the sand smacks of Islam today. You can see this by the way that Islam has brought so many countries to their knees, with violence, injustice and suffering to so many people followers and those of other persuasions yet a hardcore of do gooders insist we welcome all that comes with this ****estain of a religion with open arms.
