All looks ok but on the wiring instructions attached for the Honeywell programmer, from the boiler it shows a separate boiler and pump. the earth and neutral from the boiler goes to the same terminal as the earth and neutral from the mains and timer but it shows the live going to the terminal 10 which connects to the zone valves
In reality my ecotec 637 doesn't have a separate pump but has a earth, brown live, blue neutral, a black and grey wire coming from it - there is not a separate pump with earth live and neutral wires as per the diagram
So The plumber has connected the earth, brown live and blue neutral wires to same terminal as the earth live and neutral from the mains supply and timer and the grey wire from the boiler goes to the terminal 10 which is connected to the zone valves
Is this correct ?
I attach a picture of the wiring diagram for the Honeywell timer - all is connected as shown but I don't have a separate pump for the ecotec vaillant so the wires from the boiler - earth natural and live are going to terminals 1-3 and the grey wire is going to terminal 10 (which is where on the wiring diagram it says that is where the live from the boiler should go )
Any help would be appreciated
Also is there a reason why the black wire from the boiler wire is not used ?
