He must have forgotten his bob the builders kit so had to find a way of looking like he was one of the people. I think Boris would be more entertaining on a long haul flight than sitting next to Starmer though. Unfortunately, that is the basis on which many of the electorate judge him as fit for leadership.

I think Mottie once said he didn't care because brexit suited him, isn't that just a very english way of protecting perceived self interest. We're not obliged to vote to help others, some do. I blame politicians and the media for feeding this approach and their failure to think about the long term economic interests of the country when electioneering.
