What, asking for the benefits?

The country has been set back. Surely i can ask how we can all benefit.
Brexit supporters don’t want to admit every Brexit destination resulted in harsh compromises and consequences.

they were sold cakeism, and they don’t want to talk about the problems caused because that exposes the lies.

customs border between GB and NI being a classic example (it’s not our fault it’s the nasty EU)

THIS. IS. NOT. A. BREXIT. THREAD.

I don't have anyone on ignore as it is a pointless exercise. I only log in if I have something I want to say but I read the forum every day. I try to avoid the argumentative posts but I still have to read the drivel in the post headings. IF I decide to enter a discussion it invariably turns into argument and then I have to read all the drivel posted by the usual few clowns. Where the hell have the mods gone. There was a time when an argumentative thread was quickly jumped on and closed.

I don't put anyone on ignore.
It's a forum for discussion. I like to think I'm adult enough to navigate deliberate ****-talking.

Putting someone on ignore because you disagree with them is akin to sticking your fingers in your ears and going "la-la-la...".

However, if you do like to bias your experience, then you should reset at regular periods.

New year is as good as anytime to unignore everyone.

I don't put them on ignore because I disagree with them, I do it because at some point the might have abused me, replied to me in a rude or vulgar way, SHOUTED at me to get their point across etc.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I can get on very well with others who think different to me.

I use ignore because I use my phone for work everyday. It's never not by my side. And I have an habit of tuning in to often.

It takes too much of my valuable time and thinking. My fault I know but I really need to cut out the repetitive pantomime stuff.

It's not just difference in opinions, some members start, continue and hijack threads with the sole intention to pi$$ everyone off.
At one point you have to stop reading and replying to their total nonsense which is often abusive so blocking them works.
Just have a look at few of himmy's posts (Roy Bloom now) and realise how the racist bigot has ruined almost every thread in the GD.

This sums up exactly those on my ignore list.

excuses excuses excuses

you lost the argument on the George Floyd thread and you had a hissy fit.

you were the one that kept repeating the claim “he wasn’t a bent copper” - being bent had nothing whatsoever to do him being violent.
