Rishi delivers.

Seems like a few on here are not celebrating the reducing of inflation. Only to be expected. Is it coincidental that they are remainers?
Someone seems to be swerving the fact that inflation is a compound thing, so lower now means that more has been added to earlier higher prices...

And compounded to that you still haven't explained why you don't think inflation has increased because of brexit due to a crashed UK currency...

Hint: The UK imports more than it exports...

It's called a trade deficit...

And if your currency has been crashed, it costs more to import...

Thus higher inflation than had brexit not happened and the pound hadn't been crashed...

Simple enough for you?

Hooray!
Building materials have just gone up and are set to increase again in April.
I've just had my water bill, which was £50 up on the last one.
All my insurances have shot up (bastards).
Gas and electic - bastads!
Broadband has just increased.
Mobile phone bill is set to increase.

Great this lower inflation Mottie, yeah!

Mines gone down.
All my insurances have shot up
So had mine so I shopped around
Gas and electic - bastads!
Definitely cheaper and predicted to go cheaper still.
Broadband has just increased.
Mines £6 cheaper now than it was 2 years ago because I phoned them up. Did the same for my mum. It’s not hard.
Mobile phone bill is set to increase.
Mine hasn’t gone up in 4 years and I still get inclusive EU roaming.

You must live in a parallel universe to me. Either that or you’re just too f’cking lazy to do anything about it. Perhaps you are cutting your snozz to spite your face?

It's said the increase in wages will take time to catch up with inflation and when it does people will feel happier about paying more because they can afford it - 50% increase on Easter eggs. Nooo!

Literally just had this email come through. You must be the only idiot in the country whose energy prices have gone up. Are you soft in the ‘ead?

Yeah, energy prices go down in April as people use less. Has mot grasped the way they work yet, i wonder?

I think you haven’t grasped what a price cap is.

Nosey is inferring his is going up so do you think he’s the only one in the country that will be using more in April?

The price cap has got absolutely nothing to do with the quantity used - it’s the cost per kw that’s coming down. Will go down further in July too.

Everybody says prices have gone up….except Mottie

Poor Mottie, twisting himself inside out desperately trying to support his failing team

But wage rises are inflationary.

On his pledge to halve inflation by the end of the year. Smashed it. The man is as good as his word.
Rubbish. Inflation generally does fall off and can be predicted and influenced by the BofE. F all to do with him.

I don’t think even you know what you are saying there.
I guess it has to be even simpler for you then...

I mean we are now getting down to amoebic levels!

You are either incredibly stupid (a given), or...

A troll (another given)...

So it has to be a third option...

That (and this also a given), you are an incredibly stupid troll ;)

LOL Richie is ar it again. His wonderful B'ham etc Tory mayor. Fact is things were moving in the right direction before we had one. LOL Another one he is working with - another city is a bloke from Labour. Then slags of B'ham Labour council. Their biggest problem is being the biggest local authority hence the biggest financial problems.

The council is still meeting house building targets but to be honest that is mostly due to certain factors about B'ham that make it possible.
