You mean like
global huge threat to humanity,
existential threat to humanity
global boiling -
the seas dying
Them kind of emotive slogans - them what you mean.
the people on this thread who believe in climate change arent using those emotive slogans

And you have the evidence for that or it it just your gut feeling. - oh and you missed Trump supporters

strawman argument

Putin invading Ukraine is an existential threat to the West.....but all theye done is prevaricate

the oil industry is worth $4trillion a year, it has great power to lobby governments
Every time you hide behind "strawman" means you have no argument.
And why would you want to argue against the world governments creating the money to save the world.
And "printing money" is exactly what has been done to supply ukraine with arms

Eh- are you reading the same posts as I am.
Ah I see what you did there -- CLIMATE CHANGE - everyone believes its changing I don't think anyone is arguing against that.

it is a given that climate change refers to Anthropogenic climate change

Without going through all the pages here are the 2 most resent ones
Not when the seas die, they won't.

What about Nobel Laureates who actually work in the field of climate change?

And the "existential threat to humanity" was from a link to a paper that someone posted

Have you ever looked into how long intense solar activity can last

A few years.

11 yr cycle, from minimum, through maximum, back to minimum (or maximum>minimum>maximum, if you prefer. But they amount to the same thing).

Astronomers are pretty confident on the 11-yr cyclicity; they've been formally recording it since the mid-1700's.

We're approaching a solar maximum, this or next year.

"must be from serious scientific journals, not YouTube, science magazines, newspapers, blogs or televsision."

So youve discredited your own evidence completely? -"climate the movie" is not a serious scientific journal

"Provide links to peer reviewed research papers by suitably qualified scientists"

discredits your own evidence -"climate the movie" is an opinion piece

where have I express certainty?

I have expressed certainty that "climate the movie" contains myths and misinformation

I am happy to provide the evidence you have asked for, but first you need to acknowledge, your own evidence and claims fall way way below your criteria set for me.

Once you have discounted the evidence you have put forward, so we are on a level playing field, I will be happy to present my argument

I posted a link to a film thinking it was an interesting and more unusual perspective that doesn't follow the usual doom laden narrative and which people might enjoy watching. That is all. Not setting out to prove anything.

My own opinion on the subject, which I've already explained, is that the matter is not settled, that there is a high degree of uncertainty, and that we should allow the scientific process to work in the normal way so that all avenues are explored. That is it. That is my view.

You on the other hand are clearly dogmatic and I have politely asked you to help us understand your perspective using rigorous scientific sources. The fact that you are now flapping and are unable to do so makes we wonder how you have ended up with such a high level of confidence. Care to explain?

The offer is still there - please comply with the stated criteria.

We are still learning about our nearest star and the 11 year is not the only cycle it has.
Not to mention the earths 100,000 year cycle around the Sun with a 23 percent difference in the incoming solar radiation.
How is me paying extra tax going to stop the planets from orbiting the sun that effect our own orbit.
We are all being had.
Yes climate change is a thing - yes we want clean water and air yes a tiny part of it is man made - no there is nothing we can do to stop the natural cycle of the solar system. If you want to spend money on anything it should be on things that allow us to adapt to the change. Letting pensioners die in cold homes I suppose is one way of tackling the problem.

At last. Some sanity.

Is man making it worse, or not?

Its a very simple question ? Prepared to answer it?
