I am fitting a shower unit in a small spare room. All the plumbing will be coming form the hot press in the next room. What sort of connections do I have to make. Adjoining wall is a block wall. Do I just drill holes to take the pipes and make the connection in the hot press?

I wish to run a new waste pipe into an existing 82 mm drainage pipe. Anyone know where I can buy a 40mm boss strap to do this.

Yes, thought it was voltage drop but have never experienced it in the other houses I have lived in and though it might be due to old wiring or corroded connections.

I have a large L-shaped living/dining room concrete floor and I wish to lay wooden flooring. Room dimensions is 7X7 metres with about a quarter of it 'removed' to form the L shape. Is it OK to lay the flooring all in the same direction or better to 'break' the run at the inside corner of the L.

I have moved into a house which has a waste disposal unit which doesn't function. I want to remove the disposal unit and fit a sink drain and trap. Can I get an oversized drain to fit the hole in the s/s sink? If not what is the solution. I'm not ready just now to replace the sink unit but need...

Have recently moved into a flat with underfloor heating. Heating runs on economy 7. and switching is controlled by synchronous timer. Problem is that the timer has stopped working and only did so after plumber had switched off consumer unit when doing a job on the immersion heater. Have checked...
