Hello everyone. Have been with british gas now for 2 years and really want to leave, for many reasons but not going into details right now. Thinking of a move to Heat team, or Vaillant ? not sure just yet. Would be great to get a little feedback from anyone that has made the move from BG, or...
i take it by heat sensors, you have change the thermistors? when the boiler is on full tilt, that is with the hot tap open full, what its the burner pressure? does the gas valve modulate upto full gas rate and then back down when the tap is closed alittle? how about the pump? is it set on 3...
the sysyem is sealed and so is under positive pressure. this is not an open vented system and not subject to positive and negative pressure. As i have said air can not be pulled in via the pump or rad valve or anywhere else. in use the system pressure can be upto 2 bar, and thats the whole...
Air can not be pulled in on a sealed system. the air has been trapped. has the auto air vent been left open on the appliance? this would help free the air in the system. you could try dropping the all the water out through a drain point. then refilling, bleeding each rad till you work your way...
To convert Kilowatts (kW) into a British thermal unit (Btu) value simply multiply the Kilowatts value by 3414
kW x 3414 = Btu
Your boiler is 32kw
32 x 3414 = 109248 btu
fit the green filter.
fit an S plan but add an extra zone valve, with is own controls. that is time switch and cylinder stat. when you branch of from the pump, fit auto by-pass first then have the pipe work split into three with a 2 port valves on each branch, have this close to the 10 way J/B as you`ll use less...
