Hi My hallway, stairs and landing are covered in wood panelling. It had been painted a really dark colour so I decided to strip the lot. I've spent weeks and weeks burning off the old paint... I've spent weeks and weeks sanding every surface... I knotted the knots, and filled the gaps...

Thanks everyone so far :) Hope this helps. Perhaps it's a lack of faith on my part, but it looks to me like the new tail won't screw into the hole I'll be left with when I remove the old one. What do you recon? Cheers, Brian.
