hi all ,i skimmed a ceiling today with multi finish plaster i boarded it myself but there was one board already in place looked like it had been there some time (different colour yellowy surface) when i put the skim on it seamed to dry instantly on the old board ,i had to give it a few coats on...

can anyone say if post mix/crete is any good the posts for a 5ft feather edge fence????? also is it as easy to use as it looks on youtube just pour water in the hole then the post mix no stirring just leave???

if i scratch coat a block wall saturday is it ok to smooth render the next day sun or monday? or does the scratch coat have to dry out? any advice welcome thanks

its a garden wall been painted iv been advised to either get all the paint of or steel mesh over it.

hi i have rendered some garden walls 4 sand 1 cement half a shovel of lime ,not done on a sunny day looks fine but when rubbed just goes to dust used waterproofer , anyone know why this has happened? thanks
