that makes sense. so why would turning mixer control to cold allow cold water out of the hot tap and shower?

i was thinking the water could be crossing in the mixer valve is that what you mean?

sorry its a worcester 25cdi I tried attaching main supply direct to the hot to bathroom but still nothing

This is bizarre!! This is a combi boiler. Plenty hot water at kitchen which is 3 feet from boiler. In the bathroom which is about 12 feet away there is little pressure on mixer shower when asking for hot water and just a trickle from the hot tap. When i turn mixer to cold i get cold water...

Just a wee clarification. The shower has its own pump at the moment.... will i change the cold side to main supply and pump the hot from the cylinder? or what? Thanks

cool...thanks 8) I will be installing a vaillant ecotec 618 boiler as well, there is 12 rads in the house will this be sufficient? Basically make it a sealed system from the boiler and gravity on the cylinder feed? Does the pump have a problem with toilets?

could you advice a cylinder? should i increase the size? not sure how i could run separate supplies to the toilets and pump the rest as they will be on the same supply pipe? do you mean keep the main at the kitchen sink? Thanks Pal

Will the cylinder be big enough to cope with the pump; 150 liters? What about it pumping over the vent?

There is huge storage tanks in the attic Its only main to kitchen sink they rest is fed off the tanks I did look at pumps but was confused
