    Power carseat from 240v

I did think about using a car battery, but then, I would have to keep charging it all the time. when we start talking about 40 amp (isnt that like 480 volt ?), that sounds pretty mega for a charger, to be honest, I wish the seats were just manual. It might be better if I just get some more that...

    Power carseat from 240v

Looked at the motors, but the just say 12v, no amps or watts. My current charger is 15v 4.5 amps. It works with that, but the wires are melting (getting very hot and making a burning smell), I think they are too thin, (they came from the power supply unit from an old pc). Will it cause any...

    Power carseat from 240v

I got two jag car seats that Ive set up as office chairs, they are pretty cool, and I dont get as sore sitting on them for 16 hours a day. I found the wiring diagram for the electrics, and tested it with a 15v 2 amp power supply. It kind of worked, enough for me to see that the bits all work...

I have checked the light fittings, but not changed them, 'A' has two bulb fittings which are old, 'B' has a brand new fitting...

    Intermittent light problem

I have a strange problem with a few of my lights. At the back door there is a double light switch, (A + B) A feeds two bulbs, B feeds one. A single live wire comes down to the com on A, and bridges to B. No idea what happens to the neutral. The light worked to my knowledge for atleast 7...

    zone valve help

I am trying to set up an automatic watering system. What I think will do the job is a zone valve, connected to a timmer. Problem i see is that im coming from the mains, so how do i reduce the power, and second is all the extra wires, I simply want to electronically turn the flow of water on...
