I disagree, if the concrete subfloor is correctly insulated then the underfloor heating will be more effective without the compound. aslong as you use enough adhesive to cover the elemant what wld be the problem?
i need my kitchen stripped back to the plasterboard as am re decorating it. how do i know the existing paint is rubbed down enough and the old tile grout? and whats best to use to remove paint?
Your underfloor heating should have its own 2.5 radial backed up by a 20 A rcbo. your fusebox is dated and your installation does not comply with the 17th edition regs. Get your Periodic inspection done and pay for the remedials!!!!!!!! standard
is it really necesarry to lay self levelling compound on top of your heat matt before laying your tiles on your floor?

i Have just re boarded my ceiling and am happy with the taping and joining. i have rubbed it down and its ready for painting. its in my kitchen, is it ok to just paint on matt emmulsion ??????
