    Atag timer / programmer

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've just had an ATAG 325C fitted and I'm very happy with it. Though I now need to get a timer / programmer for it. I've been told that I need a voltless one. I've been told they are a fortune. Anyone out there had any experience of what timer I need? ta...

    Belfast sinks

I know - it's ridiculous. Those sizes you mention are available on line I know. The make is Porcher . I've looked on their website and nothing of that size exists. The fact is the customer must compromise and have a slightly bigger sink, albeit only 4 cm's. People eh? What's their appeal I ask...

    Belfast sinks

Hello all, I need to replace a damaged Belfast sink which is 590 (L) * 410 (W) *200 (D). I cant find a replacement of that exact size and the customer won't compromise on the size, but is willing to pay a fortune to get one custom made. Does anyone know if getting one made is possible? Many...

    More Keston nightmares.

I know the Keston's a lump of sh*** but I'm obliged to have one as my flat is so limited as far as the flu goes. Believe me I'd rather have a W-Bosch or Vaillant. I only have a 2 bedroom flat with 1 bathroom, no power shower, and I have a Keston c36. The Heating engineer said that it is too big...

    keston boiler, even more problems

the problem i have is that my flat is a nightmare of partition walls and windows close together, that I had to have a Keston because of the flu situation. 2 Heating engineers looked all over - I've no choice! I know they're lumps of sh**e believe me, I've the bills to prove it.

    More Keston nightmares.

I've a Keston C36 , 4 years old and had nothing but problems with it, almost from day 1. Last week I had the pcb replaced, the ignitor rod and a couple of other bits and pieces as it wouldn't ignite. It was ok for a couple of days now when there is a demand for water, the water warms up and goes...

    sash windows wont stay put

Hello all -any advice is welcome. As all of the sash's in my flat won't stay put. The bottom ones won't stay up, and the uppers just sink all the way down. Funny thing is, they all seem to have the weights attached as they can be felt at the end of the cords, and can be heard rattling about...

    unknown plumbing system

Thanks for the help..But the system i saw was much simpler. It was just a kind of free - standing, electric iron, that had what looked like sockets, that heated. The plumber put the pipes onto the sockets for a few sec's and pressed them together. that simple! A friend told me they use this...

    unknown plumbing system

Whilst on holiday in Turkey recently, I noticed that they were using a plumbing system that was basically a kind of electrical iron that had a male and female socket, onto which they put the pipes and fittings on and then pushed them together, which melted them together. Does anyone know what...

    dry lining

re: the efflorescence, it's pretty much gone and the wall itself is a new wall recently built, so would I be right in thinking that this was just a result of it drying out? The house is at least 150 years old. I'm glad you think dot n dab will be ok. Saves me lots of messy rendering...
