Central heating system not working right.I have had british gas guy out rads down stairs not getting hot upstairs was shut them down bottom rads got warm but after period of time some went cold again ,also kettleing sound from boiler says its down to poor circulation due to pipes being blocked...

the feed from tank in attic is just before the pump which flows into 3 way valve

it still vents water through bleed screw

it comes from boiler tees off to vent then tees from feed to pump then into three way vavle splits one warm water one goes through imm tank

how do you find if is a negative ,how would this make a difference

system has been drained and refilled water comes out pretty clean it has feed and an expansion tank in attic

seems to be air in central heating ,could leaking rad valves draw air in when working.

has anyone got an idea? rads upstairs getting warm downstairs cold . turned off upstairs ,downstairs warm but valves upstairs seem to weep a little from valve and when you stop pump you hear bubbles rising in pipes . tryed reduceing flow in hotter rads but when all open goes back to hot upstairs...

just tried your idea turned off one side upstairs one side some of rads getting warm downstairs most of them

He tried allsorts came back next day but still could not sort it he wanted to buy bigger pump the new one he put on was supposed to be bigger than origanal one but could'nt say that would sort it out

Has anybody come across same problem as i have. Just moved into new house central heating playing up,rads upstairs getting hot downstairs cold.Had corgi reg guy out changed control switch new three way valve and new pump drained the system and filled it from bottom rad but had rads warm not red...
