Thanks guys the unit has 4 fuses in and the guy that had the house before me put an extra unit in for a shower that's been removed but the wiring's still there so I think its time for a new unit

I've got the old bakelite wire fuses and I want to put mcb's in, the old one's are 2 pin and the new are 4 how do you get round this or do I need to get someone in to change the consumer unit
I've had a look all round and can only find 1 2 port valve on the tank itself unless they are under the floorboards but I can't see any cables going that way
Cheers Guys thanks for that I'll give it a try one other thing I've noticed reading other topics on the forum they seem to say there should be 2 zone valves, 1 operated by a room stat and 1 operated by the tank stat I only have the 1 operated by the tank stat is that correct?
the boiler is a Gloworm Space Saver II and on the cylinder is an ACL Lifestyle 2 port motorised valve apart from that just the normal tank stat, pump and radiators ect. when you move the switch on the valve manually it brings the pump on and when the programmer brings the water on the pump comes...
Hi when I have the central heating off on the programmer and leave the water on, the water comes on but the radiators still get hot any idea's would be helpfull

I'm putting a booster pump in but the current tank is not big enough to supply both shower and bath/basin and no room where it is to put bigger one in. Can I supply the hot water direct from the cylinder via a york flange and put a separate tank just to supply the pump with cold water or do both...
I'm looking to put a glass fibre roof on my dormer and wondered who are the best people to get the stuff from also the boards need replacing 18mm are a bit heavy to get to up to where it is, is there any reason why I can't put 11mm boards and then 9mm boards on top
Hi I'm fitting a shower cabin that has body jets shower head ect and a booster pump (2 bar) it recomends a 50 gall tank min but mine is only a 35 gall approx. I cant get a bigger tank in can I put a second tank in the loft the other side of the wall say 25 gall and connect it to the first one...
Hi I want to fit a surrey flange to the cylinder to connect to a shower pump but the fitting on the top of my tank is a male fitting looks about 1" BSP. I've checked to see if it is an adaptor but it appears to be part of the tank. there is a female fitting to a 22mm pipe coming off there going...
