Mmmmmm, For some reason I have purchases stopgap 114 to go with my stopgap green bag. I have layed 5m squared wtih this on asphalt flooring, will I have a problem? I know this is a latex and not acrylic but only found out after laying!!!!! Cheers

One final question, I did not expect the glue, primer and smoothing compound to be so expensive. Do I need to go through these steps if the floor is smooth or is it because it is asphalt I have to do this process? Many thanks

Hi Woodulike, Sorry cannot give you anymore info as I don't have the wood yet should be delivered next week, however from memory they are all different sizes length wise and about 90mm wide. I had to get it from Allied Carpets and it is tongue and groove. Regards

Hi, I have not taken any flooring up. The concrete has a DPM over it but I don't know what it is. Its black and quite thick like I said the house is only five years old. I just need to know so I can buy the right adhesive for the solid oak I wish to lay. Regards

It depends on how much you want to take off but I generally circular saw and sand with a belt sander. I find the base of the door to narrow for a plane!

Hi, I have Barratt Home! It's five years old and the concrete floor is sealed with what looks like to be bitumen. What adhesive would I use to lay solid wood flooring on this type of floor? Many Thanks Ricky
