I think it depends on what else is on the system,ie one/two heating zones, remote wireless control preferred or not, your installer should already have had this discussion with you, what did they suggest?

It sounds like it could be the diverter valve but i'd recommend you call your installer out before doing any replacing HTH

Hi Flosscat, Has this problem been resolved for you yet? To me it sounds like the pump but because it's already been replaced I'd say you should call out a local engineer to investigate the problem further before buying a new pump. Good luck!!

Hi Mark Rainbow and Lez 359, As far as I was aware and f.28 code displaying is usually down to a frozen condensate pipe, it could have frozen during the cold weather and snow we had recently, i'd check that first before anything else :) HTH

Hi GIAI, F23 code usually is an indication of poor flow and so the problem could be with the pump or main heat exchanger. It's more than likely to be the heat exchanger but you'll need to check for pump resistance -which should be 150 – 200 ohms. hth :)

Hi Asif, Sounds like external controls need checking, especially the control that is used for the cylinder temperature, which should be set at 60 deg c.

Hi, the part should fit in like a light bulb, push it up and quarter turn, if its tight then some Vaseline smeared on seal may help ease. Good luck!

Sounds like a system balance problem to me, i'd get the installer back. Best of luck

Hi Parcival, Check the pressure in the system, when you're releasing air from the system it needs to be replaced with water to re pressurise. :D
