Siemens MA-V322c 3 port valve, No hot water

The system has recently been flushed out, Yes the boiler fires up when CH is required and when HW is required. the middle pipe (inlet) gets hot and so do the CH and HW pipes when the unit is in the correct position. As I say it doesn't seem to return once it's gone all the way over to the CH...

Siemens MA-V322c 3 port valve, No hot water

Well when I take the lid off, the part with the motor, the valve springs back to the HW setting. As I said I get hot water and heating but when the heating is on without the hot water the motor moves the valve all the way over to CH but it does not return from that point when there's a demand...

    HEADER TANK ON COMBI.........!!!!!!!!!

Its a serious major job to access the pipes, full laminate floor to come up, then a wayrock floating floor. are there any better leak sealers available? even if the header tank is 114 litres would that not give sufficent pressure. If the leak is not visible whats wrong with a auto fill loop?

How many cartridges of leak sealer can I use, I tried 2 of the Fernox but that did not work. The pressure drops very slowly when the heating is on but if I turn the heating of it goes from 1.5bar to 0 in about an hour. are there any magic ways of finding a leak? How long does the leak sealer...

    HEADER TANK ON COMBI.........!!!!!!!!!

OK, so in this order, mains supply, cut and insert T piece, then an isolation valve, then the double check valve with the arrow in the direction of the flow of water, then the pressure reduction valve set at about 1.5 bar, then a 15mm to 22mm adaptor then cut the flow pipe for the sealed system...

    HEADER TANK ON COMBI.........!!!!!!!!!

So let me get this right. If I insert a 15 mm T piece into the mains supply then connect a pressure reducing valve (from screwfix) to it then connect a double check valve and then connect it to the 22mm feed pipe using a 15mm to 22mm adaptor and T piece and inserting a isolation valve this...

    HEADER TANK ON COMBI.........!!!!!!!!!

Hi, thanks for the response. Yes the system loses pressure but there is no sign of a leak, no water from the blow off valve etc. This Altecnic auto fill valve that you mention, are they any good? whats a NRV & PRV? All of the downstairs pipes are inaccessable due to a floating floor then...

    HEADER TANK ON COMBI.........!!!!!!!!!

what do you mean cross contamination? this is an unused header tank from the original boiler. Problem with replacing the filler loop is that she is not very confident and I work away a lot (forces) Thought this would be a easy solution that would take it off her mind as she worries a lot...
