    cheers do you happen to know the weight of ply?? the surface of ply is rough and grainy isnt it? this would ruin my paint effect that has to be flawless.. is there a way of priming the surface? R

    whats the best adhesive to use to bond a slate fireplace to the wooden carcus that sits snuggly behind the upright legs. someone suggested 'no more nails" but i didnt think this was specialist enough and i was afraid of the powerful solvent affecting the slate surface.. regards R

    hi all i wish to have a first class smooth finnish on a newly skimmed wall. the skim is good but still has a few nicks and scratshes in it when viewed with a wall light. is lining the answer?? and is it possible the do without having a seam between 2 pieces of paper?? R
