I am going to get one of these with a outside wall bracket for my bedroom what contains my computer, 3 monitors, hifi, etc.. what in turn causes my room to get very hot. My room avearges around 25-28c in summer and 2-4 degrees lower in winter.

Now the kit comes with 4 meters of pipe, but ideally I only need 0.75 - 1.5 meters of it. How would I get around this as it has a quick connector and not normal pipe.

My best guess is to simply run in through the wall, down the outside wall, across the wall horizontally, and back up to the outside unit; obviously just running the condensate drain straight down to the ground.

Edit: Also this (Page 11) suggest the space between the back of the outside unit and the wall must be a minimum of 30 centimeters; how important is this for wall mounting?

On the basis that that is the minimum recommended then I'd assume that is the minimum clearance required!

Bearing in mind that the outdoor unit needs to pull air through the heat exchanger then clear space around the unit is important.

Some cracking translations on page 18 - note 3 is particularly good

For that sort of price you could buy yourself a proper split unit, mount it yourself where you want it and pay a fridge man to pipe it up and commission it properly... The air gap is important else it won't work as it should and void the warranty
