    compatable shower

    My old shower has 138mm inlet centres and the inlet / feed pies are set into the wall. I see the new showers are 150mm centres has anyone come across this 7 found a method of fitting - I would prefer not to disturb the wall & tiles if possible

    Cold shower

    Have amixer shower that was too hot, descaled it & now can only get cold water! there is a small thermostat in the unit that should be adjustable but doesn't seem to have any effect - should I just admit defeat & change the shower or is there something else to try Thanks

    have fitted a aqualux frameless shower door but the botttomm opening edge sticks - there is no adjustment on the hinges, they are rising hinges so perhaps I could add a washer Has anyone had a similar problem or a solution Many thanks

    wood stain on waxed finish

    Have wooden bath panels that were stained then waxed - I want to enhance the staining but am concerned if this will take on top of wax or what is the best way of removing the wax - would wire wool be best? any ideas please - thanks

    Chipped bath

    Sealed system problems

    Have a problem where there is not hot water through the taps but the water tank is hot - happens occaisionally usually in the morning but rectifies itself later in the day, also there is a constant drip from the vent Any ideas / solutions please

    Bath Screen Fitting

    I am planning to fit a bath screen but am concerned that the wall I will fit to is a tiled lath & plaster and that it may not be strong enough to support the screen - would be too much to hope for that I hit a support! Any suggestions which fittings I should use?
