    Just for the record I have opted for a Viessmann 100 30kw, the price was £250 more then the Baxi but the selling point was a 5 yr guarantee over the Baxi 2 yr (plus 10yr on the heat exchanger)

    Have seen that many so decided to narrow it down yto 3, budget is £800 - £900 for boiler so I am open to suggestions, ruled the WB 30cdi out as its too big.

    Combis would you suggest? My short list - 1st W/B 30SI - Due to cost and size of boiler 2nd Valliant ecotec plus 831 - Might be too expensive though 3rd Baxi duotec 28HE - Might be a tab too large Any comments welcome.

    Cheers for the replies, the reason for no powerflush is one was done 3 years ago and the rads are all fine no leaking etc.

    I am after getting a new combi boiler and had/have settled on the W/B Greenstar Junior 28I however I have 3 guys round to price it up (not been given a price yet) and they all favour Baxi and the Duo-Tec Combi HE 28KW.......question is why? am I missing something here? I know both boilers...
