Gas safe engineer required in Louth area

Thank you for the tips. I did think it might seem a little pretentious however I wanted to make sure people know I'm not taking the pi55 in expecting payment. I would say my pipework skills are fairly good as in I can solder, cut accurately, make compression joints including stopping old ones...

Gas safe engineer required in Louth area

I am about to start a training course to become Gas Safe qualified. As part of the training I am required to work with a Gas Safe engineer and for them to sign my portfolio. I appreciate to start with I may be a slight hindrance, however in return for this I will offer my labour for free. I...

Because I want to heat the whole house. From my experience in the past a stove can heat the downstairs of a property well so would just like a radiator to heat upstairs.

    Backboiler stove installation question

I plan on installing a stove with a backboiler. I only require it to heat one radiator upstairs and was looking at a 2.4kw radiator, but the stove I want outputs 7kw to the backboiler. I assume i would need either a lower power stove or more radiators? Otherwise it'll boil the water? I...

    Alexa on any alarm

Thanks sparkymarka. I thought I was getting a constant 12v from that, but upon checking a second time it's working as expected. Last question if I wanted to do the mod above which two points would I connect the wifi relay to, to act as keyswitch? And what menue options do I need to enable...

    Alexa on any alarm

I would like to do the Alexa thing but what setting do I change to enable the wired bell (pyronix Enforcer with wireless bell)? I got my multimeter on the bell output and tested on every other output and don't get 12v that comes on when the alarm is tripped and goes off when reset.

Pyronix enforcer alarm output when armed

I will use an external pir and a couple of relays. When both the alarm is armed and the pir is triggered it'll close the circuit via relays and trigger and alarm.

Pyronix enforcer alarm output when armed

At the minute I get alerts that I don't need when I'm in, I would like to only get alerts when I'm out. From what I gather I can use the pgm output bit I'm not too sure how to set this up in the alarm, or even if there are better options.

    Pyronix enforcer alternative

im looking for a reasonable wireless alarm that I can arm via my mobile and get alerts. So far I’ve found the Pyronix Enforcer v10 but I’m wondering if there’s something a little cheaper. I would also rather not pay a yearly cloud fee.

    Cast stone fireplace installation details.

The manufacturers (one man band working from a lock up) suggests that the thing is silicones to the wall and the hearth is glued to the floor with a grab adhesive. It doesn't seem right to me.

    Cast stone fireplace installation details.

I have bought a cast stone fire place, in a light sandstone colour and the seller has advised on installation but I'm not too sure his advice is correct. For the hearth would it be ok to bed it on white flexible cement based tile adhesive suitable for stone? For the straps which screw into...
