Hi
Not sure which catergory this would go under. Does anyone know how to clean the tube/nozzle of expanding foam cans? [if its possible].
I'm fed up with throwing away half full cans because the nozzle is blocked from a previous use.
Any advise gratefully received.
Cheers

Hi
I'm fitting a new radiator / towel warmer in the bathroom. My existing central heating is plastic pipework but I want to have the visible rising pipes in chrome. My question is this, when connecting the pipes should I connect the chrome pipe into a plastic elbow bend or should I fit a...
I recently moved to a new [to me] house and the central heating / domestic water system is all plastic pipework, something I'm not that familiar with. From reading other topics I see that it is acceptable to connect copper pipes to the plastic system. My question is this.
When making a...
Hi John
Sorry to hear your having this problem.
I'm afraid I can't help as the problem never did get sorted. The company won out in the end by doing the usual delaying tactics relying on me to just go away. Which I'm ashamed to say I did I was just too busy to keep chasing it up.
Its funny...
Not if the roof tiles have been laid correctly you shouldn't. You may have to push up the second or even third course and de nail the bottom courses.
Sound to me like the initial pvc fascia installation is to blame here. They must have installed it over the existing timber fascia which has...

Just idle curiosity. . . . . On my electric distribution board there is a switch called earth leakage
On / off and what looks like a reset button.
Whats that do then??
The first engineer tried that one, didn't work so he sent off for a new one but this made no difference.
Have been in touch with Sabaf and they think it may be the injectors. They have been very helpful which is more than can be said for New world who are trying to wash their hands of it :x !!!
No the others are either larger or smaller. They did at first send out a spare burner and skirt but this made no difference
When the engineer came out [the fourth time!!] and told me the sound was normal I said if so then make one of the others whistle. He tried but was unable to. Oh he says...
Just a quick note on tingles / clips.
If you take out the slates in a pyramid pattern along the length of the proposed works [ie 4 from the eaves 3 form the next course etc] then you can drastically cut down on the amount of the clips needed.
Hi.
I recently bought a new gas cooker. One of the burners [only one of five!]makes a disturbing and frankly annoying whistling sound when it operates just above the minimum.
The manufacturer has been out to look at the cooker and following a few sorry attempts to stop it, has NOW decided...
