    You are correct KingFisher :) It is a set back! But supposivly they are coming with my 10.8 tomorrow all though the cabling is NOT being changed they said cause its a short run no need to... Out of curiosity will it just short the fuse or blow the fuse if the cable isnt strong enough?

    Thanks.. I found out the shower thats there is using a 10mm cable already but the fuse ( i think thats the right term) is 40... which from what i read i need a 45v I shall look for an electrician however to do the work im not in the business of frying myself :)

    yes there is a pipe from teh top and bottom of the tank... My husband reckons there is a tank up in the attic (we havent lived here very long!!) but that would make sense as sometimes i can hear water filling up in my upstiars bedroom... if that makes sense. thank you again!

    Nope.. mine is a cylinder tank (probably 50 years old lol) it only does hot water.... there is no tank in the house for cold water at all... the tank used to be heated i believe by fire place but they covered that up and its heated only by Eco7
