Hi people I have a potterton puma 80 about 10years old. .Problem (apart from having a potterton thats 10 years old ) I can light the pilot okay but when depress switch for permant light the pilot goes out ?? Any ideas please Chris

Hi can anyone help please .came home to find boiler not working. on inspection found no power to the boiler. Touched a couple of wires on pcb board mains light flickered but also arcing at the back of board. Sooo does this mean pcb knackered or can it be fixed and also could it be a problem...

Ok gasman if corrosion does that mean plumb shop guy right and need new boiler or can i do somthing about the corrosion. Also why so sure not pump ? Cheers Chris

Hi bellairaphon is boiler going to lockout and is the boiler coming on when u have not selected heating or hotwater No ch goes off pilot still there, no boiler sits and waits for hw or ch. Thanks for response

Hi Guys thanks for help on previous post. Problem now is the boiler fires up and runs for anything upto 1 hour then switches off . Pilot stiil alight and pressure 1.5 bar. If i turn ch switch off, turn tap on then off, flick boiler switch it fires up and will run for 30 mins or so some...

Hi Kev Yes pin comes out when turn tap on and back when off. Boiler carrys on for about min then goes off. :evil:

Hi i had a water leak on my flat roof, have repaired the leak, but now am left with nasty stain on celling. I know i cant paint over stain as it will come through again. So any ideas please how to cover or get rid of stain. and also do i have to paint the whole celling again. Regards Chris
