Ferroli 102 squealing when hot water running.

i have a Ferrolli 102 combo boiler and recently the boiler is squealing when the hot water is run on full, quiet when the taps aren't on full or when central heating is on. If I switch off the boiler and run the taps it still makes the same noise so I am thinking it's not gas related? Any...

TAPPING NOISE IN CHIMNEY BREAST AND LOFT EVERY DAY

I too suffered from this in it was our next door neighbours boiler. They'd had it upgraded or something and the plumber never installed the pipes with any clearance from the walls so when the boiler pump ran the pipes vibrated against the walls. I ended up going next door and managed to fit...

Plastering the internal wall following penetrating damp.

Hi, The external render is fine now as the cause to the penetrating damp was where a previous boiler exhaust had been patched (badly) by the previous owner so all sources of damp entry should resolved by this as I've had the entire house done rather than it being patched. Maybe I should...

Plastering the internal wall following penetrating damp.

    Shed electrics question.

For the conductivity & bonding <0.1ohms ideal , impedance testing values vary depending on the circuit breaker but I'm looking for 0.75 ohm, testing will allow for the proction afforded by the MCBs & RCD to operate correctly & protect ME. 'Scuse me if its not 100% I never had time to revise.

    Shed electrics question.

Well Ive done the route as planned (on the riser of the steps below the lip) and was a bit over the top as I've run the 6mm SWA from the house inside 25mm crush resistant poly conduit. Never knew how much of a pain that it would be threading that! Just need to terminate the SWA in the house...

But otherwise you think that the route should be okay.

    Shed electrics question.

Hi folks, I've just had a new shed and would like to supply it with electricity. My problem is that the ground between my house and shed is a driveway. My intention is that I run the cable in conduit from my CU via the outside walls to the shed. The conduit would be mounted below the...
