    Rustproof Boiler

I've just cleaned the soot out of my boiler (baffles etc) and the manual suggest I wash baffles and internal casing with rust proofing. Any idea what I can use? All the things I would normally use to rustproof are oil based and would be burned off during the first firing as well as stink the...

    Softboard

When I was a boy you could buy sheets of softboard. It was a fibre type board that was handy for notice boards and the like as it was easy to get a drawing pin in. Seems the nearest I can get now is mdf, not quite the same. Anyone know where I can get some? Thanks in advance Charlie

    Chuck Keys

I'm looking for a chuck for my pillar drill; I'm unsure how to search for the exact one. Is there a site that explains how to measure chucks etc? All I know is the chuck is a B16 taper chuck and takes upto 16mm bits. The hole the key fits in is 8mm. Any advice will be appreciated. charlie

    Forstner bits

I bought a set of these when I bought my router but have yet to use them. I have just read that they should only be used in a drill or press. Why? charlie _______________________ moderator moved as posted in wrong forum

    Variable combi pressure

boiler pressurised to 1 bar and holds it steady. Preheat DHW and pressure drops to 0.5 bar. When CH on pressure increases to a max of 2.9 bar. Bolier is Baxi 105e and recommends pressure between 1 and 1.5 bar. I would appreciate views on this problem. Thankyou Charlie
