other than the cost it would be easier to take up if required. to be honest i dont see the need to tile onder the units if ur putting plinths under them. i would completely tile the rest of the floor though, including under the appliances.

i prefer the cast irons because they feel more rigid. whenever i stay at my parents or somewhere else with a plastic bath i can feel the difference, kinda like it bows abit. is it possible to resurface it urself???
