Hi I have one of these motors on a vibrating table. http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/16653.pdf Yesterday the motor stopped vibrating the table as good as it used to. It has a capacitor in a separate box. Do you think the capacitor could have died?

When I turn the power up on the generator up does it make it spin faster and could I take the motor off my generator and adapt my boat engine that spins to power my generator with a BMX wheel adapted? Its not me asking this as I know the answer but my brother will not listern to me.
