Hi,

Can anyone advise on connecting a 15mm radiator vavle to an existing 10mm Microbore central heating system. Is it possible to use a copper reducer and add the required length of 15mm tubing?

Thanks

as dextrous said, the reducers are the way forward IMO.

They go inside the compression fitting so you will not have to have any external reducers.

I would recommend the use of PTFE on these.

Thanks for the reply. And is it safe to go from 10mm to 15mm on a central heating system on a combi-boiler?

Yes. I assume there isn't enough play in the microbore then  Pity, especially since it's easier to get the parallel offset (s-shaped bend to you ;) )using 10mm so the pipe goes through the floor right next to the wall/skirting instead of an inch or so out.
