1inch mains lead pipe to blue plastic pipe?

Hi all,

I have 1 inch outside diameter lead pipe coming into a meter inside my ground floor bathroom and i want to cut the pipe back to move the meter to the outside wall, is there a connector avalible to join the lead pipe to the water pipe ? its gotta work first time as the mains water shut off kills 4 houses !!!!

all the plumbers merchants sell these fittings, leadloc, philmac are 2 i know of, make sure you have the right diameter when you go to buy and it will be a straight forward job
