2 way light switch

I have just gone to replace an existing 2 way switch with a new one. the old switch has the following config

L1 - Black
L2 - Red
Com - Red and then a wire between the 2 com ports

New swich is

L1 L2 and L3

Which wires should be going where on this one

L1 = com
L2 = L1
L3 = L2

Basicly

L1 is common normally at the top (known also as common)

L2 and L3 are normally at the bottom (also can be L1 & L2 depending on brand)
