If you are generating 24V. D.C. unfortunately (as pointed out by the bickering 'gentlemen' on here) will not be practical to transmit over that distance.
Without getting all technical 800watts @ 24V = 33.3 Amps, and would give either very high volt drop or result in a very large cable to cut losses.
Depending upon intended type of load an answer might be to connect to a local 24V-230vAC invertor as used by truck drivers to power mains equipment, then at 230V your cable would only be carrying around 3.5A and a 1.5mm cable would probably be adequate.

[Hello all what a great response and that was first time on.

I think the general opinion seems to be to carry the load over that distance at 230v which does make sense and gives us a lot more choices of actually using the volts.Thanks again

Mileson, slight error, over 120mtrs would need a 4mm swa to keep volt drop to acceptable limit eg, 4.62Vd still better than a120mm2 cable at 24v!
