We're doing a loft conversion where we need to change all doors to the stair into FD 30 doors. On the 1st floor we have original wooden doors that we'll be using as a base to upgrade to FD30 (they're 108 years old so keen to keep).
The problem is the ground floor. The original doors here were replaced (not by us I must add) by more modern glazed doors which need to be replaced completely. I'm looking for either pine or oak veneered FD30 4 panel beaded doors to match the upstairs, but the door widths are non standard 36" which no-one seems to stock!
Does anyone have any experience of trying to source such doors? Would prefer to buy off the shelf to keep costs down, but if not will have to go for made to measure.
