Quick question please - is it possible to run LED plinth lights in a kitchen directly off the lighting circuit?
Plug is 3A fused to an in-line 12v transformer, rated at 0.022A max.
Due to "U"-shape of kitchen, would need to chase from light switch to an unswitched socket for transformer. Should this still be in 1.5mm? If so, then don't want anyone mistaking this (albeit behind base cabinet) socket in the future and trying to plug something else in to it...
Or am I best to cut plug off and wire into an FCU at that location instead?
Many thanks in anticipation!
