45amp pull cord

Hi i am replacing my old pull cord for shower with a new one,now as i know nothing about electrics, but have replaced sockets around my home.
the new pull cord for shower has in it a feed and a load connections question is do i connect the cable from my main supply to the feed or load and then on to the shower

incoming = feed
outgoing (shower in your case) = load
