I am a CH and HW numpty.

We had a Megaflo installed in the loft about 6 months ago. At first, the HW gushed copiously from the bath tap. Husband has nipped into the loft now and then and has tweaked the tap to the required level (is is about 1? Just over?)- but now the HW pressure is no better than the cold. It takes 20 mins to fill a bath as opposed to 5 mins 6 months ago. Why? The overflow pipe isn't dripping.

We have HEAPS of mains water pressure, you could cut stone with it!

On the side of the megaflos there is instructions to recharge the inbuilt air bubble, or the filter is blocked or the mains pressure to the house has suddenly got worse.

The pressure regulator / strainer may have become blocked up.
Especially if you are in a hard water area. Limescale.

Clean the strainer first if not then it is the pressure regulator valve on the cold feed to the tank.

Note it should have really been install at the inlet to the house to give
even cold and hot pressure.

the mega flow does not boost the pressure, you can't get more out than you put in so they should be the same, or higher on the cold.

I'd check this first

Might be something to do with a tap tweaking husband who is regularly in the loft. There are no adjustable controls on a Megaflo installation that affect the flow rate, only the temperature of the hot water, which should be set between 60 and 70C.
