A dip in ceiling plasterboard

I made the mistake of not checking that the ceiling joists were level before screwing on my plaster boards. It wasn’t until I screwed it all on and stood back to notice that a joist in the centre was probably 20mm shorter than the others.

My original plan was to use easifill on the screw holes and paint it. No skimming as I don’t possess the skill.

I am now wondering if I can “iron this out” by using a straight edge and smothering easifill into this section and smoothing it out with the large straight edge.

I could remove the board but it’s now all screwed on and I am concerned that it’s probably permanently moulded as it’s been there for 7 days.

Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if someone can help me out with the pickle I am in please? Thanks in advance

Yeah you could do as you suggest. Might need to build it up a bit in layers tho.
I’d still take the boards off, sister up batten(s) where needed to straighten the joists and re fix, the board won’t be permanently bent, it’ll bend back with sufficient screw fixings.
