...from someone who probably should know better but i have not come across this before (or dementia is fairly getting a grip).
top floor flat in a block, Ferroli Optima 701(fan flued) with twin pipe flue up though the ceiling, followed it into the common loft. Flue section exits and terminates above the roof - ok. air intake section stops about 1.5m into the loft (in mid-air so to speak). no purpose provided ventilation in the loft area but draughty so probably well provided adventitiously (if that's how it's spelled). Looks as if it's been like this for years. I'm thinking at the naughty end of NTCS. anyone any thoughts or opinions?
