If you had 14 rads in total and with 12 fitted with try,s and 2 had no trv,s fitted what is the total in percentage that have trv,s fitted please show your workings out.

Rounded to a couple of decimals...

12 are fitted with try,s and the other 2 didn't have trv,s. Therefore none have trv,s fitted.
 
No trv's fitted 12/14 * 100 = 85.71
with trv's 100-85.71 = 14.29

I took that as a typo error, but knowing BOB you probably have it.
 
I got the same as Diyisfun, 85.71%, but as he beat me to it, I can't prove it and it probably just looks as though I'm copying. Anyway, it's too sunny out to care.
 
Twelve fourteenths (12÷14) have something fitted .... 85.71 % have fittings.
Two fourteenths (2÷14) have sfa fitted ...14.29%

this is back to front if their is 14 light bulbs (low energy) and 2 normal

what is the percentage of low energy please show your working out.
 
Divide the number of the item you want percentage of by the total number of items and multiply by 100, i.e. if there are 14 lamps, 12 low energy and 2 normal filament to find the normal lamps as a percentage of the total it is (2/14)x100 = 0.1429x100 = 14.29%. If you want the low energy lamps expressed as a percentage (12/14)x100 = 0.8571x100 = 85.71%
