Hi Guys
I have had a piece of pebbledash fall off my house its about a 2ft square
I would like to have a go at repairing it myself, is the list below the correct way

First remove any loose pebbledash and brush the wall clean
Slightly dampen the wall, and apply a mortar mix and smooth
Leave 24 hours to partialy dry, slighty dampen the wall again
Add a sloopy mortar mix, smooth, and apply the pebbledash

Thanks for any advice
Mike

I'd suggest that you should first investigate and determine how and why the pebble dash failed.
Perhaps its just a glip at that point, but it could be something more widespread.
Research on here.

Bump
I believe it was caused by a slam dunk
The previous owners son had a baseball hoop

Make sure you scratch your first coat and make sure you keep your second coat in a couple mm to allow for chips to lie flush with existing.
