Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting - Elton John

Wouldn't that have been hilarious. Elton John, in a fight.

Especially if he was wearing that big white wig he wears sometimes. All the powder would come off his wig and make a big "cartoon fight" cloud. You'd just see his hands occasionally appearing out of it.

Somehow, I doubt people were particularly convinced upon hearing the song title even at the height of his pop career in the 70s.

Sunday, Monday, Happy Days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Happy Days.
Thursday, Friday, Happy Days.
The weekend comes,
My cycle hums,
Ready to race to you.
 and this is the bit I really like

Goodbye grey sky, hello blue.
There's nothing can hold me when I hold you.
Feels so right, it can't be wrong.
Rockin' and rollin' all week long.

The best bit from this songI always found:
"you bet your bottom dollar"
nice 'flow'

BTW, Annie was the (first and the last) picture I saw in a English cinema (the first and the last) during a coach holiday to Cornwall. And I was amazed that smoking was allowed! (Early 80's that was)

if you saw it in cornwall it was probably in B+W ? and no sound? the old lady at the front playing the piano ? that was my gran

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday... :(
