Hi all i have changed the battery in my 15 year old accenta6 alarm unit as we had a powercut and the alarm sounders wouldn't stop...They used to ?
Now if i trip the mains fuse simulating a powercut the alarm goes off the keypad has no power and i cannot enter a code to deactivate the alarm.I'm worried if we do have another cut (usually in the middle of the night)i will not be able to silence the alarm.
I did notice the PIRS around the house seem slow to respond to movement, maybe they have always been like this and its only now ive noticed.
The PIRS are looking old and grubby can i just replace them with any honeywell PIR's ?
Thanks for now Paul
