Underfloor heating is being installed as part of job that includes a ground floor located boiler. It has been proposed that in addition to a manifold for the zone adjacent to the boiler a second manifold (requiring a dedicated pipe from the boiler running to it) is required for the second zone that is a 30sqm area and 8m away from the boiler. Both zones are on the ground floor. This is rather than using a single manifold at the boiler for the 2 zones. Can this distance from the boiler require an addition and costly manifold?
any guidance appreciated
